The Head of U.S. iShares Product Innovation will lead the strategic direction and execution of product innovation initiatives for U.S. iShares ETFs. This role is pivotal in maintaining and expanding our leadership position in the asset management industry by driving the development and commercialization of innovative ETF products across index and active strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of product strategies with business objectives and market demands. Key Responsibilities and Requirements: Strategic Leadership:
Provide visionary leadership for the product innovation team, setting strategic priorities and driving the development of new products and enhancements to existing offerings. Innovation Pipeline Management:
Oversee the innovation pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of new product ideas and enhancements. Partner with internal teams to prioritize and execute product launches and improvements. Commercialization Strategy:
Develop and implement commercialization strategies for new products, taking into account market trends, client feedback, and competitive landscape. Work closely with sales teams to target the right client segments and scale new products effectively. Stakeholder Engagement:
Present product proposals and updates to internal committees and Boards, securing necessary approvals and support. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Product Range Management:
Lead strategic product management projects, including regular range reviews and enhancements, to ensure the product offering meets client demand and provides a comprehensive suite of investment tools. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with client-facing teams, markets, investment teams, product research, and product strategy to implement the product development agenda and drive business growth. Knowledge/Experience: Extensive experience in the investment funds industry, with a strong background in product development and management. Deep understanding of index construction methodologies and terminology. Proven track record of leading and executing complex projects in a collaborative environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and presentation abilities. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines. Commercial awareness and the ability to understand and address client needs. Attention to detail and the ability to quickly digest and act on new information. Advanced degree in a quantitative field is an advantage. 15+ years of industry experience. For New York City and California only, the salary range for this position is $240,000 – $350,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
