The Cisco Distributed System Engineering (DSE) group is at the forefront of developing products that power the largest networks in the world. The networking industry is going through a massive transformation to build the next generation infrastructure to meet the needs of AI/ML workloads and continuously increasing internet users and applications. We are uniquely positioned to capture that market transition. This team builds products by harnessing the potential of open-source technologies while pushing the boundaries on Systems and Silicon Architecture. Your Impact

You are comfortable working with multi-disciplinary, multicultural, and geographically dispersed teams. Responsibilities include being the technical focal point for Planning, Automation, Quality, and Performance. Work with high-touch customers, covering all aspects, acting as the technical expert to debug and solve technical challenges. Knowledge and understanding of hyper-scaler infrastructures at Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, including Switching-Routing and Services is a plus. Work closely with customers to understand operational problems and provide/automate solutions. Minimum Qualifications
8 or more years of experience configuring and debugging networking systems and complex solutions. 3 or more years of development/automation experience using Python. Experience with networking technologies including L2/L3 protocols. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with test frameworks, traffic generators (commercial & open source) including KeySight/Spirent/IXIA. Exposure to network operating systems, preferably IOS-XR/SONiC.
