JOB DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Associate- Intern candidate will provide administrative support and assist with associated administrative and accounting tasks in the human resources department.
DUTIES
- Performs general administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
- Verifies information and maintains accounts receivable reports including but not limited to open monthly invoices, purchase receipts, and other associated payroll, accounting, or billing reports.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensures the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable; receives, verifies, and posts accounts payable invoices into the accounting system(s).
- Research and process invoice discrepancies.
- Review, audit, and process accounting records and documentation (i.e., employee expense reimbursements, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, check request(s), etc.) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Assist with special accounting projects.
- Assists with accounting and HR month-end close processes.
- Accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and HR data entry.
- Accounting reconciliations
- Assist employees with solutions to general payroll, timesheet, and Human Resources questions.
- Processing the recruitment, onboarding, and termination of employees.
- Responds to employees' questions/ concerns.
- Process benefit enrollment forms and change requests.
- Prepare, distribute, and submit company documents or files.
- Human Resources project management
- Maintain company accounting, and employee files, documents, and databases.
- Mail sorting and distribution.
- Process human resources work ticket requests from staff.
- Create and post job requisitions and job descriptions.
- Coordinates travel arrangements for senior staff.
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and or annual HR & accounting compliance audits.
- Research and development.
- Screens and routes telephone calls.
- Processing confidential (sensitive) issues, and PII securely.
- Performs other related accounting & human resources administrative duties as assigned by senior staff.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Understanding of HR ethics, and confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- One (1) to two (2) years of related experience.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Minimum of 40 wpm.
- Ability to effectively provide non-bias assistance to a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Must be adaptable and remain flexible to company changes, protocols, and workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be deadline driven & understand how to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.

- 15.50-20.00 USD Hourly
