Position Description

WK Dickson seeks a team-oriented Project Engineer with the municipal water/wastewater design experience. Project Engineers play a vital role in project delivery, in support of our project managers, performing standard, complex, and non-routine design tasks that require extensive skill and knowledge of civil design, hydraulics, pumping and conveyance, and treatment of water/wastewater. This position will also support project managers in mathematical analysis /calculations, preparation and production of project plans, studies and reports, specifications, permit applications, bidding and construction administration services, and general project organization.

Requirements

  • Must possess a BS Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years consulting experience and PE required (reciprocity in 3 months acceptable).
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the project team, supervisors, and clients.
  • Experience with technical writing, including memorandums, reports and specifications preferred.
  • Experience with the design, permitting and bidding of Municipal Water and Wastewater pipelines, pump stations and treatment facilities preferred.
  • Experience in Construction Administration or Construction Observation preferred.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to project sites and meet the needs of the position.
