Stadium Operations Assistant (Internship)

Overview:
The facilities intern will be assisting the Facilities Manager with the upkeep and management of Salem Memorial Ballpark throughout the Salem Red Sox 2025 season. This includes but is not limited to: cleaning the stadium concourse and tunnels, using power tools to make various improvements, inspecting equipment, help overseeing some part-time staff, as well as utilizing a pressure washer.
Job Description:
The facilities assistant is the right hand to the Facilities Manager. They will be tasked with the help of preparing the stadium for the arrival of the Salem Red Sox in the preseason as well as working on stadium improvements throughout the season, this can include: painting, cleaning, hanging various signs and boards around the stadium. The assistant will also be aiding in setup and tear down for any special events happening throughout the season as well as all Salem Red Sox home stands throughout the 2025 season. Throughout games the assistant will be tasked with helping the manager oversee stadium ushers, parking attendants, and kids zone attendants, as well as, cleaning up any potential messes in the stadium and any other job assigned.
Job Length:
The job of facilities assistant runs from March, depending on availability, through the conclusion of the 2025 Salem Red Sox Season.
Compensation:
The compensation for this position will be discussed during the interview process.
