Our growing HVAC company is looking for a problem solver with a can-do attitude and a proven record of install experience in the HVAC field. You are an accomplished HVAC install tech that will meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and safely install a variety of HVAC equipment. You'll also be responsible for installing indoor air quality and control systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role, as you'll be working with industry professionals and customers. You have the technical skills to read and apply blueprints, codes, and manuals to any job, and are comfortable with using HVAC power and hand tools to get the job done. Responsibilities
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
• Install and replace HVAC equipment, including ductwork, thermostats, and other related components
• Conduct system tests to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, maintenance needs, and system operations to customers
• Complete work orders, service reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing job duties
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies
• Enter completed projects and the parts used into database
• Install a variety of heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems
• Adhere to all applicable codes, standards, policies, and safety procedures
• Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks
• Join pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source
Qualifications
• 3-5 years experience
• Earned HVAC school degree
• Must pass a background and drug test
• Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Attended HVAC school for degree and 2+ years of field experience as an HVAC installer
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections
• Candidate must obtain required state and local HVAC technician licenses
