Description

Project Managers/Estimators bid, sell, and manage projects from pre-construction through completion. They serve as the primary point of contact with our customers and are responsible for the financial

results of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform takeoff of all quantities of concrete and masonry scope items and create estimates utilizing software
  • Complete estimates incorporating subcontractor pricing, labor productions, and material costs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients
  • Pre-construction project setup in company software
  • Create and submit project submittals
  • Manage project cost, schedule, and cash flow
  • Attend monthly project financial meetings with the accounting department
  • Track project labor production - daily, weekly, monthly - through reporting and production meetings
  • Attend jobsite meetings and coordinate project activities with Superintendent and Foreman
  • Foster and lead project safety
  • Complete project closeout
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience with commercial subcontractors
  • Must have good organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs such as: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • General knowledge of commercial construction principles and practices is required
  • Have working experience with existing General Contractors
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, documents and specifications
  • Have previous experience in estimating and managing projects
  • 2-4 Year Degree in Construction Management or similar field
