Job Description:
The Electro Mechanical Assembler is a W2 contract opportunity for US Citizens ONLY. This role involves products of various weights and sizes, equipment with moving parts, chemicals that may emit fumes. To minimize safety risk to you and product, you must wear static-control and personal protective equipment. This is a physically demanding job. Due to the nature of our work, you will need to be able to perform the following functions, with or without reasonable accommodation; distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements, bending, stooping, reaching, turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on rack, etc., using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation), sitting or standing at a workbench/test stand for extended periods of time, lifting to 25 pounds unassisted, and transporting product with or without product carts.

Responsibilities:
- Soldering electronic components and using other hand tools. (Jumper wires, solder cups, etc.)
- Identifying correct parts, components, wires, and other materials.
- Measure, mix and apply a variety of chemicals and adhesives.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools (manual and power). Calipers, torque drivers, torque wrenches, solder irons, etc.
- Assemble a variety of electronic units using proper assembly techniques.
- Reading and interpreting technical data such as assembly instructions and engineering prints.
- Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)
- Utilize computer systems (e.g. work instructions, labor charging, and standards)
- Process material requisitions in accordance with established procedures.
- Generate Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reject tags (SAP) with full proficiency.
- Assist in responding to corrective actions.
- Recognize and take steps to resolve assembly/work area issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed (e.g. labor charging, verification, assembly data)
- Preferred 1 - 3 years' experience in Aerospace manufacturing.
- J-STD-001 Solder experience is required.
- IPC-620 wire harness assembly experience is preferred.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Write in a clear and concise technical manner.
- Utilize proficient computer skills and knowledge of office software applications.
- Available for occasional weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs.
