Pediatrix has an exciting career opportunity for an Board Eligible/Board Certified Neonatologist to join our practice at WellStar Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, Georgia - a thriving Metro Atlanta suburb.
Job Description: Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Neonatologist with NICU/NRP experience to provide coverage for our 18-bed MBU nursery and our growing 4-6 bed Level-II NICU Full-time position includes a scheduled rotation of 7 days on/7 days off with considerable flexibility in scheduling (providing a total of 15 - 24H covered shifts per month) and rotating holidays Schedule includes rounding on both units during the day and call from home at night Skilled NICU nursing staff attends all deliveries, MD called to attend only complex/very premature deliveries Ideal candidate will have experience with bread-and-butter care of premature infants as well as neonatal procedures No circumcisions Great work-life balance, multiple educational opportunities, small family-like unit with exceptional support WellStar Health System, one of the largest health systems in Georgia, is known nationally for its innovative care models, focused on improving quality and access to healthcare.
