Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Administrator with experience in maintaining Oracle BI Applications (OBIEE), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and related campus application servers. The role involves managing and optimizing BI applications, supporting ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and working on ODI jobs and PL/SQL programming. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless operation of Oracle BI and ODI tools, contributing to efficient data integration and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities: Server Maintenance: Administer and maintain campus application servers, including Oracle BI Applications (OBIEE), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), ensuring high availability, performance, and security. ETL Development: Support and develop ETL processes within Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), including building and managing ODI jobs to ensure seamless data integration and transformation. PL/SQL Programming: Design and implement complex PL/SQL code to support data extraction, transformation, and loading activities. Collaborate with teams to optimize existing processes. BI Application Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle BI applications, providing support to end-users to ensure system functionality meets business needs. Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of OBIEE and ODI systems, ensuring fast, reliable, and scalable operations. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for ETL processes, ODI jobs, Oracle BI configurations, and system changes. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and database administrators, to ensure the successful delivery of data solutions. Compliance & Security: Ensure that all configurations and programming are compliant with internal policies, security standards, and best practices. Required Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in administering and supporting Oracle BI Applications (OBIEE), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and related BI systems. ETL & Data Integration: Proven experience with ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), including writing and optimizing ODI jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading. PL/SQL Expertise: Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming for database procedures, functions, and performance tuning. Oracle BI Applications: In-depth understanding of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), including administration, configuration, and troubleshooting. Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within BI applications and ETL processes. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical processes and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Database Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle databases, schema design, and performance tuning. Integration Tools: Experience with other data integration tools or platforms like Informatica, Talend, or Microsoft SSIS. Business Intelligence Reporting: Experience in building and maintaining BI reports, dashboards, and analytics within OBIEE.
Certifications:
Oracle Certification: Oracle Certified Associate or Professional in relevant technologies, such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle BI (OBIEE), or Oracle Database, is highly preferred.
Database Administration: Certification in database management (e.g., Oracle DBA) is a plus.
