Summary: Vaxcyte is seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to join our Commercial Manufacturing and Supply Chain (CSMC) organization. This position will oversee end-to-end supply planning activities, including demand planning, supply planning, capacity management, scenario planning, and inventory optimization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in supply planning within the biotech or pharmaceutical industries, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive strategic and operational excellence. This role will be pivotal in aligning supply chain operations with Vaxcyte’s growth and commercial objectives. Essential Functions Design and execute supply chain planning strategies that align with Vaxcyte's business objectives and ensure the timely availability of materials and products. Perform demand planning and supply planning activities to deliver a feasible master production plan. Collaborate with manufacturing teams and CMOs to develop and execute production plans. Design and implement OMP Unison Planning with respective demand/supply planning processes. Adept and developing and maintaining data models and data tools to support advanced planning and ERP systems. Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand and minimize expiry risk. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain. Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and CMOs. Monitor performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials. Identify potential supply chain opportunities and risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proficient in scenario planning to identify optimal solutions to mitigate risk, reduce disruption and improve supply chain resilience. Ensure continuity of supply in the face of disruptions or unforeseen events. Work closely with teams across the organization, including R&D, manufacturing, procurement, quality, regulatory, and commercial, to ensure alignment and effective communication. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Establish and maintain planning processes and SOPs. Requirements B.S. / B.A. degree or advanced degree (preferred). Minimum 8 – 10 years of supply chain experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries. OMP Unison Planning experience required, data analytics and tools. Experienced in APS design and implementation with a proven track record of managing and delivering fast-track projects successfully. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions. Advanced Excel skills preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams to achieve high levels of performance. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and meet deadlines. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
