General Manager

to join our team at The Saint in Lower Gaston! The Saint experience focuses on fresh pasta, dry-aged steaks, and options for vegetarians and vegans. What we are looking for: Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability. Execute on the restaurant’s business plan and assist executive management with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets. Manage Human Resources responsibilities for the restaurant including quality hiring, training, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), terminations, scheduling, and payroll. Maintain excellent knowledge of restaurant food & beverage products, menu items, and equipment used to perform duties. Effectively communicate with BOH on menu rollouts, specials, changes, or 86’d items. Schedule daily pre-shift meetings with FOH & BOH. Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, rules, regulations and the development of our culture for the restaurant staff. Own the restaurant’s execution of F&B initiatives, maintaining the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness within all areas of the restaurant. Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of the dining experience. React to any guest complaints and take appropriate action. Manage the restaurant’s guest feedback channels through approved company practices. Work alongside the culinary team to ensure a seamless service experience between kitchen and dining room. Ideal Candidate: Must have at least 4 years prior fine dining General Manager experience. Must have advanced working wine knowledge. Must be experienced with computers including Microsoft Office. Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be a team leader, player, and have a positive can-do attitude.
