Facebook . About the Role: This position will be responsible for all patient marketing activities for INGREZZA (valbenazine) capsules in the US. Director, Brand will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and execution of patient and caregiver marketing strategies to support brand objectives based on market knowledge, customer insights, and brand strategy. This position will work closely with a broad array of stakeholders to drive execution of brand plans and will be responsible for all elements of the promotional platform for patients and their loved ones. They will also be responsible for ensuring strong cross-functional alignment in the flawless execution of strategy and promotional tactics working in close collaboration with partners, especially Digital Marketing, Commercial Analytics, Corporate Communications, Patient Advocacy, Marketing Operations, Field Sales, Sales Training, Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Regional Marketing Managers, other members of the brand team, and agencies. Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

Leads the development and execution of an integrated consumer strategy and campaigns across all channels, including brand positioning, disease state education, concept design, and messaging.

Leads the development and execution of the brand’s operational plan, including business planning activities, budgeting, strategy, and marketing communications.

Serves as a subject matter expert for all patient marketing initiatives, including Direct-to-Consumer TV and media, creative production, performance updates, patient testimonials, and the patient journey.

Fosters strong partnerships with Digital Marketing, Commercial Analytics, Corporate Communications, Patient Advocacy, the Promotional Review Committee and other functions to ensure aligned objectives and implementation of brand strategies.

Oversees the creation of all consumer-facing print, video, and digital materials.

Understands key market trends and competitive environment to drive proactive strategies to maximize brand potential; Leverages market insights and research to drive continuous improvement, growth, and strategic direction.

Serves as patient marketing representative on Promotional Review Committee for brand. Ensures timely and efficient review of promotional materials and complies fully with all legal, regulatory, ethical and company guidelines.

Manages external agencies to ensure successful development and execution of marketing programs aligned with brand strategic imperatives.

Fosters a meaningful and collaborative relationship with Field Sales, representing the voice of the patient and ensuring strategic alignment between patient marketing initiatives and field goals.

At all times, ensures compliance with all corporate policies, regulations and laws.

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Requirements:

BS/BA degree in scientific or business discipline and 15+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years of strong marketing and/or sales experience in a pharmaceutical market. Experience managing outside agencies (creative & media), design firms, and internal teams to execute brand and strategic marketing direction. In-line brand marketing experience, including commercial launch OR

Master's or MBA degree preferred and 13+ years of related experience OR

PhD and 10+ years of related experience.

Extensive previous managerial experiences also required.

Recognized as an internal thought leader with extensive technical and business expertise within a strategic organization.

High analytical acumen with the ability to translate complex data and insights into a clear and compelling story for leadership and cross-functional partners.

Deep consumer marketing expertise; TV media and production experience strongly preferred.

Experienced people leader.

Thorough understanding of the brand development process.

Strong leadership attributes to generate commitment and constructively resolve issues.

Must be comfortable leading teams in a fast-paced, consensus style environment; must operate cross-functionally in pursuit of business goals.

Able to travel, up to 25%.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $188,400.00-$272,775.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
