Summary Description:
The
Digital Security Subject Matter Expert
(SME) will provide subject matter expertise on digital security to Core One's Training and Logistics Division. The Digital Security SME will be Core One's lead instructor for its Digital Security Courses (DSC), to include providing classroom instruction, curriculum development, course planning and preparation, and client engagement. This position will be based in Sterling, VA with occasional travel required.
Responsibilities: Provide classroom instruction to Core One customers on how to secure digital devices, to include cellular devices, laptops, and smart-devices and IOTs. Provide in-class demonstrations on digital threat vectors, how to reduce accidental connections to unsecure networks, how to secure data-at-rest and data-in transit, how mitigate vulnerabilities to cellular devices and exploitation of location services, and other relevant hands-on demonstrations. Conduct curriculum reviews, create new curriculum coursework, and create practical exercises for Core One's DSC and other technical coursework. Interface with Government Customers on DSC and other technical training courses. Work alongside Core One personnel to grow and improve its technical training capabilities. Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in Computer Science or additional 5 years experience in lieu of education Minimum five (5) years of related work experience. Must have at least a SECRET level clearance Knowledge of digital communication theories and methodologies, such as encryption, computer networking, and cellular forensics. Experience designing, implementing, and utilizing digital communication techniques while travelling. Desired Qualifications/Skills :
Computer networking certifications desired. Instructor experience is preferred. Curriculum development or training experience is preferred
