Infrastructure Business Development Manager
for our premier client in
Louisville, Kentucky.
Education and Experience " Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience (Preferred) Experience with Bullhorn for pipeline and relationship management. Experience using sales tools such as ZoomInfo, Appollo, LinkedIn, etc. Familiarity with IT infrastructure frameworks and best practices (e.g., ITIL, ISO standards). Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Network+, or other relevant credentials are a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building:
Identify potential clients and develop strong, ongoing relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
Solution Selling:
Understand clients' infrastructure needs, and articulate the value of consulting services, including network architecture, cloud services, data center solutions, cybersecurity, and IT management.
Sales Strategy Development:
Collaborate with the sales and delivery teams to develop a comprehensive sales strategy, including market research, prospect targeting, and customized proposal development.
Pipeline Management:
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through lead generation, outreach, and regular follow-up.
Presentations and Demos:
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations for clients, effectively communicating the benefits and value of infrastructure consulting services.
Contract Negotiation:
Manage contract discussions and negotiations to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
Market Insights:
Stay informed of market trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in IT infrastructure to effectively position and differentiate our solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with consulting teams, technical experts, and other stakeholders to ensure client solutions are technically sound and aligned with their business needs.
Proposal Writing:
Work closely with our internal RFP response team to craft responses to RFPs in an effort to win further business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities:
Proven experience in IT sales or consulting sales, preferably in infrastructure services (networking, cloud, data centers). Knowledge of infrastructure services such as network architecture, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.), cabling, cybersecurity, and data center management. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients. Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
