This role will support the local region’s Property program needs, as well as the overall North American Property Practice as a whole. Responsibilities: Assess risk characteristics based on geography, client risk attributes and loss performance
Develop short and long term comprehensive marketing strategy, based on risk profile, carrier appetite and market conditions
Utilize analytical tools to appropriately frame client/prospective client in the insurance marketplace
Present catastrophe modeling outputs, impact on program pricing and catastrophe limit requirements
Facilitate market negotiations with a spirit of client advocacy
Manage renewal process to ensure timely deliverables
Present traditional and alternative risk transfer products, renewal proposals and options
Review lender agreements and or construction contracts to ensure compliance with insurance requirements
Develop professional, client ready materials for presentations and meetings
Develop and maintain relationships with underwriting contacts from standard, specialty and reinsurance markets
Provide regular Property market updates to clients and colleagues
Work with and support other HUB North American Property Practice colleagues as respects requests for regional & industry related expertise.
Train and develop junior team members
Work with leadership to recruit outside talent to strengthen the practice and develop new capabilities.
Qualifications: 10-15 years of experience, preferably with majority being in the Property brokerage/underwriting discipline.
University degree desired
P&C License required
Strong technical capability and familiarity with various property products
Ability to set strategy and place large and complex Property risks into the market
Established relationships and visibility in the global property marketplace
Proven progressive track record in driving new business results
A consultative, positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects, clients and associates
Strong organization and time management skills
Strong listening, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Meeting/Presentation experience Strong degree of self-motivation with a demonstrated ability to lead/motivate others
Ability to partner across HUB and work well with various teams and practices
