AMAZON CLEANER Job at Maleko Personnel in Portland

The Warehouse Clerk will be trained on pallet jack and floor scrubber, will collect trash and recycle and dispose of it, will sweep/mop warehouse floor areas, will do outdoor clean-up of property and parking lot, will load and unload materials to and from the designated storage area, verify computations against physical counts of stock, receive and fill orders or sell supplies, install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported, and drive truck or forklift to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good working condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require standing for long periods and lifting light to moderate weights.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Must be reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to quality work.

Compensation:
$17 /Hour.
Job Type: Part Time and Full-Time. (from 16 to 40 hours per hour.
