We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Schedule: We are open Monday to Thursday - No Nights or Weekends! We would prefer full time but can work with you if you need part time hours.

Duties for our Dental Assistant (DA) Include:

• Assist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Take digital X-rays and CBCTs as needed, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Utilize dental software for patient records management, scheduling, and documentation.
• Conduct patient assessments by gathering medical histories and ensuring all relevant information is accurately documented.
• Operate 3D scanners to assist in creating precise impressions for dental restorations
• Educate patients on treatment options to promote overall dental health.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area to ensure an efficient working environment.

• Experience: 3 years (Required)
• License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required)
• Ability to Commute: Shelby Charter Township, MI 48316 (Required)
