At Village Green we are seeking a Dental Assistant to collaborate with our team to improve our patients dental health and smiles in our State-Of-The-Art practice. As our Dental Assistant, you are highly skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care, and still you can make smooth office procedures for our patients. Schedule: three day weekends 2X a month!

Tuesday: 8:30-5:30

Wednesday: 7:30-4:30

Thursday: 8:30-5:30

Friday: AS NEEDED; will become permanent after associate starts

Saturday: 7:30-1:00 (2 Saturdays/month)



Responsibilities:

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
  • Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
  • Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
  • Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Develop a relationship with the patient.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
  • Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.


Qualifications:
  • Some experience working as a Dental Assistant
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Other certifications as required by the state, as an exmple: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RaDAEF), etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
