A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Phlebotomist in Detroit Michigan If you are interested in this Phlebotomist position, please contact Marcia Hamilton at (586) 710-7979 or mhamilton@alinestaffing.com Phlebotomist Compensation The pay for this position is $17.00 an hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Phlebotomist Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is 9:45am-6:15pm. M-F, No holidays, weekends or on call Phlebotomist Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and other blood collection methods in accordance with established standards. Accurately enter patient and test data into the laboratory computer system. Manage patient flow and ensure proper handling of blood samples. Assist with various laboratory and clinical duties as needed. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, processing a high volume of patients. Adhere to safety protocols and patient confidentiality at all times. Phlebotomist Requirements Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in venipuncture. Experience with straight needles and handling 30-50 tubes per day. Ability to perform blood draws for transplant patients. High volume experience, with the ability to see over 300 patients daily. Must know how to draw transplant patients Must be comfortable with frequent walking and using stairs. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
