- Monitor patients' vital signs during and after the procedure to ensure their safety.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures performed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with specialized training in phlebotomy required.
- Certification as a phlebotomist from a recognized agency preferred.
- Proven experience as a phlebotomist in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients professionally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures an asset.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
