Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Kokomo, IN.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Kokomo, IN

Schedule: Monday- Friday 10:00 am-6:30 pm. Every 4th Saturday 8:00 am-.12:00pm 40hrs/week

Pay Range: $18- $23/hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Responsibilities:

1. Obtain blood specimens by skin puncture, venipuncture.

2. Follow all laboratory procedures and protocols.

3. Perform point of care testing

4. Accurately enter patient information and tests into the computer and accurately label

specimens after the patient is drawn but before the patient leaves.

5. Deliver specimens to the analytical area.

6. Work as a team member within the laboratory department, and with all other Polyclinic departments.

7. Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Minimum 1 yr. of phlebotomy experience is required.
