Position Summary & Highlights:
We are seeking for a Advanced Phlebotomist Tech employee for our Lab department located in Boise, Idaho. This is a full-time mixed shift 10-hour schedule. In this role you can make a difference by applying your current phlebotomy/Lab Tech experience and skills.
What you will do:
Our ideal candidate under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the phlebotomist performs the manual tasks involved with registering, ordering, proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages. This person is responsible for utilizing relevant computer programs and performs data entry. This person serves as the central communication of the laboratory for all incoming requests as well as maintaining quality and quantity of specimens sent to reference laboratories and the reporting of results received.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- One year phlebotomy experience required.
- ASCP as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) or equivalent preferred.
