Job Description
Robert Half has partnered with a well known non-profit, government affiliate in search of an Administrative Assistant to support their executive staff. They have been making a significant impact in the communities educational programs. They have been in business for over 50 years and provide a great culture. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Director and Office Manager and is responsible for coordinating all administrative functions for the organization and support the initiatives of the authority.
Responsibilities include:
Office administration and support services
Processing and preparing meeting minutes
Supporting grant programs
Document and contract management
Communications with Vendors, Board of Directions, and Executive Staff
Coordinating office projects, events, meetings and day to day agendas
Assisting with marketing initiatives
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in office administration and ability to be a jack of all trades in a busy office environment. This position requires superb written and oral communication skills. They offer phenomenal benefits and a salary ranging from $50,000- $60,000 depending on experience. Hybrid work model- 2 days from home once trained. Must be local to Hartford county. Benefits include a pension and great medical coverage and PTO package! • 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity or similar role
• Proficient in office procedures and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in computer software systems including Office Suite

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
