Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and logistics of events from inception to completion.
- Support event planning by conducting research and gathering relevant information.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure all event needs are met.
- Assist in the preparation of event materials, including invitations, programs, and signage.
- Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized.
- Help manage guest registrations and provide on-site support during events.
- Collect feedback from attendees and provide reports to improve future events.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Event Management, or related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively under tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate with team members.
