Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating events from concept to execution.
- Manage registration processes and maintain attendee databases.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
- Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including audiovisual equipment and decor.
- Help create event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage.
- Conduct site visits and prepare event timelines and checklists.
- Assist with post-event evaluations and reporting to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- A passion for event planning and a desire to learn about the industry.
