Benefits and Compliance Coordinator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Benefits and Compliance Coordinator with 5 or more years of related work experience for a Temp to Perm role, located in Manhattan, New York.
Responsibilities:
Salary: $45-60/hr
Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Benefits and Compliance Coordinator with 5 or more years of related work experience for a Temp to Perm role, located in Manhattan, New York.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily compliance activities for health and disability businesses, ensuring adherence to regulations and internal policies.
- Examine vendor and client documents for compliance.
- Engage in the request for proposal (RFP) process and vendor selection.
- Conduct risk-based audits and assessments of business units and third-party vendors.
- Provide regulatory guidance to Benefits business units, including Benefits Policy.
- Work closely with the Legal unit to ensure compliance.
- Conduct research on the underlying facts of pension appeals.
- Research applicable plan rules and propose resolutions to the SVP, Business Compliance.
- Draft acknowledgment and decision letters and obtain sign-off from the Legal and Client Services units.
- Set meeting agendas in consultation with outside fiduciary consultant, the SVP, Deputy General Counsel, and the SVP, Business Compliance.
- Gather and circulate meeting materials to committee members.
- Draft and finalize meeting minutes.
- Bachelor’s degree, or related work experience
- Previous Legal experience is a plus
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role handling Benefits/Compliance
