MW Partners is currently seeking a Data Analyst to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Define, measure and track key metrics to guide execution across multiple teams in the organization.
- Rapidly construct and iterate on dashboards visualizations and reports for teams and business leaders and stakeholders to promote transparency and enable smart decision making.
- Write complex SQL queries that help Adobe identify and measure the non-genuine software base.
- Apply business logic to determine categorize the non-genuine base into opportunities Use Big Data best practices to help scale the piracy conversion program
- Create dashboards in tableau
- Apply statistical methodologies and data mining skill sets on large volume of data Analyze data and provide insights to senior executives
- Act as a thought partner to the dashboard engineering and product management team and make opinionated recommendations that empower them with data solutions to efficiently scale engineering execution and dashboard adoption.
- Leverage analytics to drive process improvement.
- Communicate in clear and concise manner for actionable changes focused on improving velocity, predictability, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in data analysis
- Proficient in writing SQL queries on SQL Server, MySQL , Oracle.
- Strong experience working on Business Intelligence tools: Power BI is desired.
- Expert in setting up the necessary connection details and scheduling reports on Power BI Report Server, providing row level security, creating bookmarks etc..
- Python programming skills a plus
- Experienced in writing and maintaining the technical specification documentation for the related work items.
- SQL Expertise.
- Hadoop expertise. Can work in hive, pig etc Create dashboards in tableau and excel Modelling in Excel.
- Power Pivot expertise a must Understanding of statistics concepts Ability to interpret data and present Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in data modeling/warehousing, ETL, system and database design development and data mining techniques is highly desired.
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented: ability to get to the root cause of problems and devise an analytical approach to reach actionable answers.
