BC Forward is currently seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Worker  in Charlotte, NC 28269

Job Title: Warehouse Worker I
Duration: 3 Months contract
Location: Charlotte, NC 28269

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $16-$18/Hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

REPORTS TO: Unit Supervisor/Operations Manager
JOB FUNCTION: Perform general warehouse packaging duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prep, pack, label raw materials into finished goods and prepare for storage or shipment.
Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging/labeling of products.
Operate pallet jacks, packaging materials and other items needed.
Observe safety and health regulations.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

ABILITIES:
Perform physical duties involved in packing, storing and shipping products
Lift and move heavy objects. Up to 50 lbs.
Understand and follow oral and written directions
Communicate effectively.
Attention to detail
Time awareness.

KNOWLEDGE:
Basic methods, practices and terminology used in warehouse operations
Basic Math skills
Proper methods of lifting
Methods and procedures of preparation and execution of packaging products.
Health and Safety regulations

No interviews will take place for this req. We'll just move forward with the best candidates. This facility is part of the light industrial Pilot. Meaning the identified resource may start with the background and urinalysis drug screen pending. You just need to confirm that the background has been started and that a sample has been given for the drug screen. This facility will be doing a 2 day trial of new contingents to verify that they are able to meet the lifting requirements.
