R Marley is hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator in Roswell

Salary: 22-25 DOE

R. Marley, LLC is looking to fill the role of Heavy Equipment Excavator Operator. This position will join our growing environmental division.

We handle Emergency Spill response, waste management, soil remediation, reclamation plans, stormwater services, well clean up restoration and fire/flood clean up restoration.

Responsibilities for Excavator Operator

• May be called upon to run other equipment besides excavator such as but not limited to Dozer, Skid loader, front end loader, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of machine
• Operate a large excavator to complete daily production targets
• Identify and report safety issues and hazards within the worksite
• Complete pre-start checks
• Look for areas of improvement or streamline work procedures
• Must comply with company, state and governmental health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures at all times

Qualifications for Excavator Operator

• Prefer 2 years prior heavy equipment experience
• 1year minimum of proven work experience in earthworks and/or road construction
• Demonstrate understanding of plans, drawings and specifications
• Demonstrate verbal and written English skills
• Physically fit as the job requires manual work, walking and bending
• Minimum education High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 21 years of age for insurance purposes
• Valid NM Driver's License with clean driving record to operate company equipment. MVR will be requested through NM DMV
• Ability to work with grossly contaminated environment
• Qualified candidate can work in a team environment, whether performing duties alone or with others, and follow instructions
• Must be reliable and able to work overtime and on weekends on occasion
