Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy equipment, such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, etc., to complete excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and site layouts.
• Conduct site preparation, excavation, backfilling, grading, and utilities work as required.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Daily maintenance tasks such as fueling, checking fluids, and cleaning equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with endorsements for Hazardous Materials and Tankeris a plus.
• Carpentry experience is a plus.
• Clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• Ownership of specific tools: 3/8" to 1" socket set and wrenches.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Experience in excavation, grading, pipe laying, and site utilities.
• Proficient in the use of grade-checking equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to tackle new challenges.
• Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug and background screenings.
