Create experiments and tooling to detect and diagnose hardware/firmware/software health issues. 2. Interface with external vendors and internal hardware, mechanical, power, thermal, manufacturing, and software engineers to understand system architecture to develop and execute test suites for various architectures. 3. Develop test framework for large-scale test automation inside fleet during product development and after mass production. 4. Develop and publish updates on resolutions and communicate findings internally. 5. Develop visibility through data visualization and implement systemic solutions to hardware health issues. 6. Implement remediations across software and hardware stack according to plan, while keeping a thorough procedural record and data log. 7. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform root cause analysis of system failures and isolate the components/failure scenarios while working with internal and external stakeholders. 8. Drive necessary discussion with external and internal teams on test specification and methodologies to improve test quality continuously. 9. Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 10. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, and three years of work experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation. Requires three years of experience in the following: 11. 1. SATA and NVMe storage protocols 12. 2. NAND Flash memory 13. 3. Performance analysis, validation and qualification of Solid State Drives 14. 4. Programming in Python, C, or C++ 15. 5. Software system design 16. 6. Linux and scripting 17. 7. Server architecture, components, changing systems configurations, and change impact measurement.
