We are searching for a Senior Hardware Engineersomeone who works well in a fast-paced setting. This position leads the development of cutting-edge wireless communication devices used in IoT and metering applications.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•Lead the design and implementation of electronic hardware for wireless communication devices, focusing on IoT and metering applications.
•Research and evaluate new hardware components and technologies to enhance our product offerings.
•Design and execute experiments to validate electronics design, ensuring reliability and performance.
•Provide technical support to product management, manufacturing, and third-party collaborators.
•Oversee the preparation of PCB layouts and detailed PCBA drawings and schematics.
•Manage component selection and documentation, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead innovative technology development and validation efforts.
•Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering their growth and preparing them for independent design work.
Skills & Requirements
•Extensive experience in RF, analog, and digital electronic hardware design.
•In-depth knowledge of communication technologies such as RF Mesh (Wi-SUN), Cellular (LTE M, NB-IoT), Wi-Fi, ZigBee, and Bluetooth/BLE.
•Proficiency in standard communication stacks, including the OSI model, TCP/IP, and UDP.
•Expertise in computer-aided simulation tools (e.g., PSPICE, LTSPICE, MATLAB, CST, HFSS).
•Strong familiarity with common lab test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, waveform generators).
•Skilled in computer programming and scripting languages, including Python, C, C++, and Bash.
•Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
•Experience generating technical documentation and working with product management to establish product requirements.
•Proficiency with development processes, tools, and frameworks relevant to hardware design and validation.
•Ability to understand and analyze data to solve problems and support design decisions.
•Experience working on complex R&D projects with minimal supervision.
•Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
•6 - 10 years of hardware design or development experience in the electronics field.
Preferred Skills and Experience
•Antenna design experience.
•Knowledge of best practices for designing electronics for environments exposed to high voltage surges and high-frequency noise.
•Experience in precision voltage, current, power, or energy measurement.
•Background in magnetics design, power supply design (SMPS, linear, offline, DC-DC), or electricity metering.
•Proficiency in embedded systems programming or Python.
•Mixed signal design and multilayer board layout experience, preferably with Altium.
•Familiarity with RF, high-speed communications, or EMC compliance.
•Six-Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
•Experience in designing for high-volume manufacturing.
