Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated Hardware Validation Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on test execution and validation of hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and product coexistence, as well as experience in automating test cases using Python scripting. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to document and report findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute hardware validation tests and ensure product compliance with design specifications.
- Develop and implement test cases, with a focus on signal integrity, power integrity, and product coexistence.
- Automate test cases using Python scripting to streamline validation processes.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand the design and functionality of the product and create relevant test cases.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports to cross-functional (XFN) teams.
- Document findings, generate validation reports, and track issues through to resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of signal and power integrity in hardware systems.
- Knowledge of product coexistence and the interactions between subsystems.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation.
- Ability to develop and execute test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills to document and report findings to cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with hardware validation tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with various test environments and the ability to adapt testing strategies to different hardware platforms.
