Responsibilities:
The IT Asset Management team is responsible for the procurement, inventory, and deployment of all IT hardware. In this role, the candidate will assist IT Asset Management team members in fulfilling end user hardware requests for all Berkley companies.
- Responsible for the procurement of IT goods and services
- Receives procurement requests and processes accordingly.
- Assists with monitoring, ordering, and receiving inventory.
- Assists with Catalog updates and upkeep.
- Verifies purchase requisitions/quotes. Obtains clarification for any unclear requests and recommends alternatives when available.
- Sends purchase orders to vendors adn expedites orders when needed.
- Ensures assets are received for the vendor and shipped to the appropriate end user in a timely fashion.
- Maintains high level of customer service
- Track assigned requests and communicate expectations to the customer.
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries about order and shipping status.
- Assists with IT inventory management
- Scans equipment as it is received to enter into the asset database.
- Assists in maintaining local and remote inventory levels for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one completed year of undergraduate education in any IT-related degree
- Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
