Description
Your role will encompass a diverse array of responsibilities. You will be responsible for designing the haptics subsystem, including its architecture, components selections/requirements, and schematics of boards and flexible assemblies. You will work on the validation and characterization of the module including its performances and signal/power integrity and participate in the test requirements definition acting as primary responsible for failure analysis at both module and system level. You will also collaborate on proof of concept investigations on new sensing and actuator technologies, evaluating pros and cons in the context of the final user experience requirements. All these duties will be performed in a multi-functional environment where you will need to interact and communicate effectively with all the other key team members (industrial design, SW, FW, Mechanical engineers, Operations).

- Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree

- Strong EE, circuit, signal processing, and electromagnetism background
- Good understanding of sensors and associated signal chain
- Fundamental knowledge and experience in physics, mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of statistics fundamentals
- Proficiency in MATLAB, SPICE, Simulink, or similar simulation and modeling tools
- Familiarity with modeling electro-mechanical systems
- You should be team-oriented and be able to thrive in a collaborative multi-functional environment as well
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,700 and $174,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
