DESCRIPTION
JVS SoCal is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, and dependable Recruiter with a sense of urgency to support a high-volume recruiting organization. The Recruiter is responsible for the full-recruiting cycle for JVS SoCal. The Recruiter will post and source resumes for all open positions, schedule interviews, and make job offers to all JVS SoCal candidates. The Recruiter reports to the Vice President of People and Culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Manages the full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple programs and departments.
•Assists with the weekly Headcount meetings and process for accuracy.
•Ensures Managers and Supervisors provide appropriate onboarding documents (PRF, PAF, application, etc.) for all new and/or existing job positions.
•Posts positions on all internal and external job boards and works with the marketing and communications team on any additional hiring strategies.
•Reviews resumes to ensure proper experience, education, qualifications, and minimum requirements are met.
•Conducts phone screenings with applicants for all open JVS, AJCC and Veterans positions.
•Creates interview guides for all open positions.
•Works and supports hiring managers to schedule interviews and ensures that the hiring process is moving forward as quickly as possible.
•Makes all verbal and written job offers.
•Runs background checks and process all reference checks on all applicants.
•Works with Human Resources Manager on the next steps of the Onboarding process once the offer has been made and accepted and the applicant has passed the pre-employment screenings.
•Develops and implements strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent.
•Tracks and reports key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
•A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred.
•5-7 years of Recruiting experience is required; preferably recruiting for organizations in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
•Strong organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and time management skills are required.
•Must have a strong work ethic, a high level of professionalism.
•Must be creative in their recruitment process and have experience recruiting for an exempt and non-exempt workforce.
•Experience working with recruitment platforms; Paylocity is strongly preferred.

70,000 - 75,000 Per Year
