Position Overview:
ServiceNet, a leading human services agency, is seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team. This role involves attracting, evaluating and hiring top talent across our diverse programs, including mental health services, developmental disability support, brain injury rehabilitation, homelessness and housing assistance, substance use recovery, vocational training, and child and adolescent services. The Recruiter will play a critical role in helping ServiceNet fulfill its mission to enhance the lives of individuals and communities through high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract candidates for a variety of roles across multiple service areas.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, career fairs, job boards, and social media.
- Evaluate and sort applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Present shortlisted applications to hiring managers with relevant insights.
- Ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective hiring plans.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practices and market trends.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage and track candidates.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws and organizational policies.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and organizational information.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within human services, healthcare, or non-profit sectors.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, labor laws, and diversity hiring principles.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience recruiting for roles in mental health, developmental disabilities, substance use recovery, or related fields.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certifications.
- Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).
