We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruiter to help us expand our network and bring in passionate individuals eager to volunteer and contribute to our mission.
Job Summary:
As our Recruiter, you’ll be instrumental in building relationships with prospective volunteers, guiding them through the onboarding process, and ensuring they find fulfilling and impactful opportunities. This role is ideal for someone with a knack for talent acquisition, strong communication skills, and a passion for community building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach & Sourcing: Identify and reach out to professionals across various industries to build a diverse and skilled volunteer network.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct interviews to understand candidate backgrounds, skill sets, and interests, ensuring alignment with available project needs.
- Candidate Experience: Maintain clear, consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, enhancing their experience with CFP.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with universities, industry groups, and professional associations to connect with potential volunteers.
- Database Management: Maintain an organized database of candidates and volunteers, tracking skills, availability, and project engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably with nonprofits or volunteer organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple candidates at once.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in or with nonprofit organizations.
- Knowledge of the Muslim community and Islamic values.
- Passionate about community impact and making a difference.
