Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruiter to join our Recruiting team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent acquisition. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from identifying and attracting top talent to hiring and onboarding new employees. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates.
- Talent Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates using various channels such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment strategies.
- Data Management: Track and manage candidate data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Employer Branding: Promote Grand Isle Shipyard as an employer of choice by developing and executing employer branding initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the HR team to support broader HR initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. (Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting. Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is strongly preferred. Experience with other applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is also valuable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
- Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office setting. The role may require occasional travel for recruiting events, job fairs, or to GIS field sites.
- Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds for setting up recruiting event materials.
