Staffing Agency is hiring: Recruiter in New York

We would like to bring a Recruiter aboard to service our accounts. Our ideal candidate will be a natural self-starter, organized, passionate about sourcing, able to efficiently handle high-volume screening for temporary and direct hire staffing, and have solid experience conducting in-depth interviews for referral to our clients in two main industries—Legal and Medical. 3- 4 years of prior experience recruiting Attorneys, Paralegals, Registered Nurses, and Nurse practitioners is required.

We're conveniently located in mid-town Manhattan

Main Responsibilities:

• Actively source candidates and generate candidate referrals through job postings and social media
• Review resumes and cover letters submitted for “right-fit”
• Contact applicants to be interviewed in-house and schedule their appointments
• Interview candidates, develop rapport
• Recommend candidates to clients
• Organize and update the candidate database

Required Skills:

• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Personable, confident, good presentation skills
• Highly organized with excellent planning abilities
• Sense of urgency and ability to handle pressure

Salary: $60,000 plus commission
