Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced recruiter to join our talent acquisition team, focusing on the construction of smart buildings and low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction recruitment, with a deep understanding of the unique skills and qualifications required for roles in this specialized field.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with project managers and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies tailored to the construction of smart buildings, low voltage systems, structured cabling, and physical security projects.
  2. Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of positions, including construction managers, project engineers, electricians, technicians, and security specialists.
  3. Utilize industry-specific job boards, social media, networking events, and other channels to attract and engage top talent.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, trade associations, and educational institutions to expand the candidate pipeline.
  5. Conduct thorough reference checks and background screenings to ensure the quality and suitability of candidates.
  6. Work closely with hiring managers to facilitate the interview process, including scheduling interviews, providing feedback, and negotiating job offers.
  7. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction recruitment and talent acquisition.
  8. Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience & Backgroud:
  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on the construction industry and related disciplines such as smart buildings, low voltage systems, structured cabling, or physical security.
  2. Strong knowledge of construction terminology, processes, and job roles, particularly in the context of smart buildings and technology-driven projects.
  3. Proven track record of sourcing and hiring candidates for construction projects of varying scopes and complexities.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software/tools.
