At Orb, every team member drives meaningful impact, and we’re just getting started.

About the role:

We’re on the hunt for a Full-Cycle Technical Recruiter who’s equal parts strategist, relationship-builder, and closer. In this role, you’ll own the entire recruiting process for our technical teams—sourcing exceptional talent, building strong pipelines, and closing candidates who will shape the future of our company.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with hiring managers and stakeholders, diving deep into the technical needs of each role and crafting innovative strategies to find and attract the best. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to design and refine recruiting processes that keep us agile and ensure every candidate has a white glove experience.

This is an opportunity to shape the recruiting function and grow your career as we scale. If you thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and take pride in delivering exceptional results, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role you will:

  1. Own the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle for Engineering, Product, and Design roles, from sourcing and screening to negotiating offers and closing candidates.
  2. Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand their needs, create tailored recruiting strategies, and consistently deliver exceptional talent.
  3. Build and scale recruiting processes from scratch, ensuring efficiency and alignment with our company’s goals and culture.
  4. Raise the bar on candidate experience—every interaction, from first touch to offer acceptance, should leave candidates feeling valued and excited.
  5. Communicate proactively and transparently with candidates, hiring teams, and stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
  6. Track, analyze, and act on recruiting metrics to optimize time-to-hire, candidate quality, and pipeline health.
  7. Get creative in sourcing passive candidates, using innovative tools and strategies to connect with top talent.
  8. Contribute to employer branding initiatives, making our company a destination for the best and brightest.

About you:

  1. 5-7 years of experience as a full-cycle technical recruiter, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
  2. A proven ability to juggle multiple roles with finesse, driving each one from sourcing to close independently.
  3. A knack for building scalable recruiting systems and processes from the ground up.
  4. Strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers and cross-functional teams—you know how to earn trust and collaborate effectively.
  5. A self-starter mentality—you thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and take initiative without being asked.
  6. Unmatched attention to detail with a focus on quality, speed, and results.
  7. A passion for delivering a white-glove candidate experience that reflects Orb's values and culture.
  8. A data-driven approach, with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and turn insights into action.
  9. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—you can tell a compelling story to candidates and stakeholders.

Please note: We value in-person collaboration and have built a hybrid, in-office culture with 3 days/week at our HQ in downtown San Francisco. We see it as a way to achieve our mission faster, in an environment of rapid ideation, strong alignment, and that energy that makes work more fun. Unless specifically noted in the job above, please plan to join us in person in San Francisco.
