Location: Oklahoma, OK
Pay: $50 -$57
Type: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire
Job Summary:
The Senior Recruiter operates as a vital resource for all members of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. In addition to performing core recruiting duties, the Senior Recruiter provides mentorship to team members in their daily operations, serving as a recruitment subject matter expert. This role participates in knowledge sharing and best practices, ensuring adherence to standards for optimal quality outcomes and customer service. Under the general direction of the Portfolio Manager, the Senior Recruiter is responsible for the creation, management, and ongoing administration of assigned Portfolio projects and initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage training programs for all new Portfolio members and conduct ongoing training sessions to ensure all team members are updated on current processes and standards.
- Collaborate with the TA Manager to execute talent acquisition projects, including the administration and tracking of merger and acquisition activities and Portfolio recruitment campaigns.
- Identify internal and external candidates for vacant positions by assessing job postings and employee referrals, screening resumes, and conducting interviews via phone, in person, or electronically.
- Manage a high volume of requisitions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high-touch, career-advisory role with candidates.
- Oversee Leadership and high-priority positions as assigned.
- Utilize social media and other platforms to market job opportunities and source passive candidates.
- Attend career fairs, networking events, and community outreach opportunities on behalf of the Portfolio and TA Team.
- Establish and foster relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and referral sources.
- Conduct strategy meetings with hiring managers and/or TA team members to identify expectations, clarify processes, and provide regular updates.
- Advise hiring managers and facilitate selection decision-making meetings using subject matter expertise.
- Serve as a talent consultant on best practices and recruiting to clients and peers while maintaining current knowledge of trends in recruitment and healthcare.
- Research and evaluate the external marketplace to maintain awareness of the business environment.
- Post jobs through internal and external media, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques to identify qualified candidates.
- Collect, process, and maintain applicant data, including interviewer recommendations and assessment results.
- Strategically utilize staffing agencies and external search firms with approval from the Portfolio Manager, serving as a liaison between hiring managers and staffing agencies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Three (3) years of professional work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Healthcare recruitment experience is required.
- Demonstrated increase in proactive responsibilities supporting recruitment Portfolio and/or OUH TA Team.
- Proven ability to manage diverse and dynamic workloads effectively.
- Strong support for Leadership roles while maintaining professionalism and rapport.
- Extensive knowledge of OUH TA full-cycle recruitment processes, practices, and policies.
- Broad experience in recruiting across multiple skill sets and job functions.
- Advanced skills with OUH Applicant Tracking System.
- Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of requisitions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Technologically savvy, proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
