Retail Recruiter Job at Civilized People in New York

We are looking for a hands-on creative recruiter to be part of a small in-person team to source and on-board both hourly and salaried talent for this NYC-based retail group. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and screening potential candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, as well as a strong understanding of recruitment best practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people find the right job and be able to build relationships with both employers and job seekers.

Open positions can range from warehouse worker to Director level, every day is different and every day is a challenge. A pro-active recruiter eager to build relationships is required. Spanish language skills are required. This is an in-person position, based in NYC. 

Responsibilities:

• Source and screen bilingual candidates for open positions.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications.
• Maintain relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful recruitment processes.
• Provide advice to hiring managers on best practices for recruiting bilingual candidates.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract bilingual talent.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to recruitment.
