HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Associate Recruiter will provide strategic talent acquisition support for identifying, screening and recommending qualified candidates to meet the hiring needs of the business. This role serves as a consultative partner to the HR and Hiring Manager teams, responsible for creating and implementing function specific talent acquisition strategies for identifying internal and external talent for Carter's.
This role reports into the Senior Recruiter and is based in our Buckhead offices in our onsite work environment (four days a week in-office).

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Associate Recruiter will provide strategic talent acquisition support for identifying, screening and recommending qualified candidates to meet the hiring needs of the business. This role serves as a consultative partner to the HR and Hiring Manager teams, responsible for creating and implementing function specific talent acquisition strategies for identifying internal and external talent for Carter's.

- Own the full recruitment process for each assigned requisition to include defining required qualifications, leading kick off meetings with hiring managers, actively sourcing and screening qualified candidates, scheduling candidates through interview process and driving decision making in partnership with HR and hiring managers
- Independently owns and manages the full lifecycle of call center recruitment process, including peak season hiring initiatives.
- Provide consultative and strategic recruiting services, including market research, competitive intelligence, sourcing, candidate assessment, client advice and candidate development
- Lead the search and selection process for a wide range of roles which could include professional, technical, early career and other niche skill positions with minimal supervision
- Support Carter's diversity initiative by developing and executing on recruiting strategies and partnering with HR & business leaders creating diverse candidate pools for all positions
- Actively partner with leadership to provide updates on open job requisitions and work through any communication gaps to ensure recruitment effectiveness and efficiency
- Achieve desired TA metrics around time to fill, time in pipeline, total hires and hiring manager/candidate satisfaction.
- Ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance with federal, state and local laws, and company policies. Ensure all TA activities are compliant with the established sourcing, recruiting, and selection procedures including maintaining appropriate recordkeeping
- Engage in proactive and creative sourcing activities to generate robust and diverse candidate pipelines including leveraging Boolean searches across various job boards as well as networking, asking for referrals and using existing databases
- Utilize required tools such as candidate relationship (CRM) system, LinkedIn projects or applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Capture market and competitive intelligence from sourcing efforts, and document in a manner that makes it easy to share with key partners (e.g., Compensation, HR, etc.)
- Build candidate pipelines for key skill sets as needed including actively engaging with and cultivating relationships with passive talent in the market
- Ensure company complies with laws and regulations as it relates to online sourcing, recruiting and hiring practices
- Manage the college program EDP and Intern job requisitions during Spring and Fall recruiting seasons
- Identify, screen and recommend potential candidates to the college hiring teams
- Actively participate in on-campus college recruiting events as needed
- Assist with the creation of and facilitate new recruitment initiatives and complete special projects as assigned.
Must have:
- 1+ years of professional recruiting experience (either corporate recruitment or agency/staffing)
- Proven success in filling complex jobs across a wide range of skill sets
- Ability to successfully establish relationships and partner with various stakeholders to drive the recruitment and hiring process
- Experience with creating and executing Boolean search strings to identify quality candidates across multiple job boards (primarily LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Aptitude to deliver results with little supervision and effectively manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while achieving defined goals
- Preferred skills and experience:
- Ability to understand, articulate and sell our culture and business initiatives
- Previous experience working with different TA tools and software
- Strong command of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
