The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of managing all HR functions to support the hotel’s commitment to excellence in service and hospitality. This role requires a deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards, a passion for people, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, promoting a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Design and implement training programs that enhance employee skills, service excellence, and compliance with luxury brand standards. Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, regular feedback, performance appraisals, and addressing performance issues in a fair and consistent manner. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as hotel policies and procedures. Collaborate with hotel leadership to develop workforce plans that align with business goals and operational needs, including staffing levels, labor costs, and employee scheduling. Oversee employee health and safety programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with OSHA and hotel safety standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required. Bilingual in English & Spanish required. 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other HR certification is a plus.
