Our client, located in Beverly Hills, is looking for an entry level HR assistant to cover for a maternity leave through April 2025. This role is on site, and you will work 30 hours per week.


Assist HR team with recruiting related tasks such as posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate database. 

Support daily HR operations including onboarding of new employees, filing paperwork, and updating HR systems with personal data changes. 

Answer employee requests and questions, directing them to appropriate resources when necessary. • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities. 

Cover HR duties for maternity leave, ensuring continuity of HR services and operations.

Compliance with all policies and legal standards pertaining to personnel activities. 

Conduct administrative duties, including filing and handling office equipment. 

Participate in professional development and training sessions. 

Perform any other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. 

Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. 

Knowledge of office administration procedures. 

Excellent organizational skills. 

Adequate knowledge of current labor rules and regulations. 

PC literacy and hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS. 

BS degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly beneficial
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is preferred
• Ceridian skills are necessary for this role
• Knowledge of HRMS is crucial
• Proficiency in About Time software is required
• Auditing skills are crucial for this position
• Experience in conducting Background Checks is necessary
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is important
• Strong Customer Service skills are crucial
• Familiarity with NeoGov software is beneficial
