We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the full range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Support the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Facilitate onboarding for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and development plans.
- Benefits Administration:
- Respond to employee questions about benefits and ensure timely communication of updates.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks as needed.
- HR Operations:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with confidentiality requirements.
- Generate reports and analyze HR data to support strategic decision-making.
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives for employees.
- Identify opportunities for skill-building and career advancement.
- Engagement and Culture:
- Organize employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in an HR role, with generalist responsibilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in a fast-paced or growing organization.
- Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
