What you’ll do
- Partnering closely with leadership, the HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Human Resources projects, programs, and strategies (communication, on-boarding, assimilation, talent management) in their assigned market
- Works closely with the HRBP as needed on strategic HR initiatives that may include Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Diversity, Compliance, Onboarding, and Recruitment
- Proactively addresses employee concerns, leads and coordinates any necessary investigations
- Partners with leaders and HR colleagues to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires
- Processes all unemployment requests, FMLA and Leave of Absences in an accurate and timely manner
- Processes and maintains all worker’s compensation claims in a timely manner and according with the company’s policies and procedures
- Keep abreast of Federal, State and local regulatory changes and ensure legal compliance
- Ensures confidentiality and professionalism is maintained when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field
- Three to five years of HR experience
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
